Discord Bot Policy

StickyPin Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the StickyPin Discord bot collects and how bot data is used. Last updated: May 10, 2026.

1. Scope This Privacy Policy applies to the StickyPin Discord bot. It does not automatically apply to unrelated LFGPAL website account, Forum, Market, or game guide data. Bot-specific policy
2. Discord Identifiers StickyPin may store Discord server IDs, channel IDs, message IDs, user IDs, and interaction-related identifiers needed to save stickies, repost sticky messages, run polls, enforce permissions, and apply safety limits. Discord IDs and metadata
3. Sticky Content StickyPin may store text, embeds, poll labels, poll votes, copied Discord message content, selected channel settings, and copied Discord image attachments that users or server staff choose to save as sticky content. Saved sticky data
4. Message Content Handling StickyPin uses Discord message content access to copy message text when a user chooses Stick this message or Stick from link, and to count channel activity for conservative sticky reposting. It is not designed to archive general chat history. Message Content Intent
5. Image Attachments StickyPin can copy uploaded Discord image attachments for sticky messages. Copied images are stored in the bot runtime data folder so stickies can survive Discord CDN changes, restarts, and redeploys. The website does not enable user image uploads for this feature. Discord attachments only
6. Settings And Safety Counters StickyPin may store server settings, enabled or disabled feature choices, sticky cooldown presets, active sticky state, repost timestamps, interaction budget counters, external lookup budget counters, and attachment download budget counters. Operational records
7. External Lookups Optional fun or utility actions such as weather and Wikipedia lookups may contact external services to answer a user request. These lookups are rate limited and should not be used to submit sensitive personal information. Optional tools
8. What Is Not Collected StickyPin does not need payment card data, government IDs, account passwords, or Discord bot tokens from users. Bot secrets, Discord tokens, and API keys must never be placed in frontend code or public repositories. Secret safety
9. Storage And Sharing StickyPin stores operational data in its bot runtime data folder by default. Data may be processed by hosting, Discord APIs, and external lookup providers needed to run requested features. StickyPin does not sell bot user data. Operational use only
10. Retention And Removal Sticky data may remain while the bot is installed or until server staff disables or clears it. Removing StickyPin from a server stops new bot activity there, but existing runtime data may remain until cleaned up or removed through an approved request. Server-managed data
11. Choices And Controls Server owners and administrators can control whether StickyPin is installed, what permissions it has, which channels use stickies, and whether tools or fun features are enabled. Server-level controls
12. Changes And Contact This Privacy Policy may be updated as StickyPin changes. Privacy questions or removal requests should be routed through the server administrator who added StickyPin or through the official LFGPAL support path when one is available. Terms of Service
