LFGPAL Website Privacy

This page explains the data used by LFGPAL accounts, Forum, Market, private messages, Game Finder, and security systems. Last updated: August 9, 2026.

1. Scope This policy covers lfgpal.com website features. Each Discord bot has its own terms and privacy page in the Bots directory. Website-specific policy
2. Account and sign-in data When you create or verify an account, LFGPAL stores your chosen handle and display name, optional avatar choice, email address, account provider, and account timestamps. Passwordless sign-in uses short-lived hashed codes. The site does not ask you to create or store a password. Email and profile records
3. Sessions and security data A secure session cookie keeps you signed in. Session records can include a one-way network fingerprint, browser user-agent text, creation time, and expiration time. Sessions normally expire within 30 days. Rate-limit and abuse systems use short-lived hashed network identifiers; raw network addresses are not intentionally stored in these application records. Fraud and abuse prevention
4. Public community content Forum posts, replies, reactions, Market listings, and the public parts of your profile are visible to other visitors. Do not place private or sensitive information in public content. Public by design
5. Private messages and notifications Direct-message text and account notifications are stored in the website database so they can be delivered to the intended signed-in accounts. They are not meant to be public. Current remote message bodies are kept in memory while the page is open rather than copied into durable browser storage. Account-only content
6. Game Finder Game Finder posts and replies are public and do not require an account. A gaming handle is optional; if you provide one, it is public and a visual “Show contact” step is not access control. Replies inherit the post's expiry, and posts expire within 24 hours. Ownership and report controls use one-way guest and network fingerprints. Submitted card, reply, and report text may be checked by automated rule-based safety filters and reviewed by moderators; those filters are not guaranteed to identify every harmful or contextual message. Short-lived public LFG threads
7. Local device storage LFGPAL may store non-sensitive preferences such as interface state, install prompts, or selected filters in your browser. Authentication state and remote private-message bodies are not intended to be durable local-storage records. The browser and PWA may cache public site files for offline use, but API responses are excluded from service-worker caching. Preferences, not private API data
8. Service providers Cloudflare provides website delivery, serverless functions, database storage, bot protection, security controls, and email delivery infrastructure used by this site. Google AdSense may process advertising and measurement data on pages where ads are enabled, subject to Google’s own policies and your browser or consent controls. The NTE interactive map loads tiles and icons from GameWith, so opening that map can send ordinary web-request metadata to GameWith. Hosting, security, email, and ads
9. Retention Game Finder posts and replies have the short automatic lifecycle described above; reported or moderated records may be retained longer for abuse review and audit. Expired sessions and verification codes are cleaned up by application maintenance. Account, Forum, Market, notification, and message records currently have no universal automatic deletion deadline and may remain while the service operates, until removed through feature controls, moderation, or an approved support request. Limited backups may retain older records for recovery and security. Feature-specific retention
10. Your choices and requests You can avoid posting public content or a gaming handle, close or delete supported Game Finder posts from the same guest browser, delete your own Game Finder replies from that browser, sign out to clear the session cookie, and use available owner controls on your content. LFGPAL does not yet provide a self-service full account export or account deletion screen. Request access, correction, or deletion review through the official support link above; identity and scope must be verified before account data is changed. Transparent current controls
11. What LFGPAL does not need Do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, private access tokens, or sensitive personal information through LFGPAL. Media uploads remain disabled on the website. Keep sensitive data out
12. Changes and contact This policy may change as the website changes. Material changes will be published here with a new updated date. Privacy and data requests can be started through the official LFGPAL Discord support link; never include a password or sign-in code in a request. Open LFGPAL support
